a 3AM here, a 4:15 there
a 5:20AM that wraps itself around a neck
wrists severed and bound
your tongue a dead fish in your mouth
silence a broken a truth
search for an in between
search for a second between breaths
search for a space wedged between heart and…
Once again revisiting old poems. This one was necessary. There was a weight trying to ease between bone and flesh today. I disallow it.
